A fantastic little car with lots of character. Suitable for learning to drive (both my children passed first time having learnt to drive and then taken their tests in this mini). Being a late-model mini it has 4 seat belts and head supports. We have had no accidents in the car. There are some superficial dents and small patches of rust but nothing structural, as described below. I don't think it would take much to sort these out but please feel welcome to come and have a look. The car runs really well, and has lots of life left.
Bought Nov 2007, has done approx 15,000 miles since then, almost all local. Has been maintained by a mini specialist garage, and during this time has had front exhaust pipe, rear exhaust pipe, rear bumper, both CV boots, front swivels x 4, front brake pads, near-side rear radius arm pin & bearings, and the off-side front subframe mount replaced. The distributor cap, rotor, plug leads and plugs were replaced 3 years ago. Receipts available.
Original throughout, except there are no hub caps. No radio has been fitted, and the dashboard is uncut. The temperature gauge does not work, and hasn’t since I have owned the car.The near-side wheel arch extension is broken at the front. There are several dents in the roof, but these are not creased, and apparently due to someone climbing on the car while it was parked. There are slight dents (in some cases possibly poor repairs by previous owners), one in the off-side door, one in the near-side door, one in the near-side side panel, level with rear seat, and several in the boot lid. There is a dent in the rear bumper. The front number plate is cracked. Inside there is one two-inch tear in the roof lining behind the driver’s sun visor and there is a small hole in the dash board just to left of the choke control, although this is not really noticeable - it looks like someone put in a small self-tapping screw.
