Facelift Late 04 MINI Cooper S Supercharged Gleaming Black With Orange Stripes

 Gorgeous MINI Cooper S

This is my girlfriends much loved MINI Cooper S, which is now for sale as she has just upgraded to an R56 model (Newer shape)

This really is an excellent example of what can only be described as a real hot hatch, with an addictable supercharger 'whiiine' and an equally throaty exhaust note!

Ill start with some of the basics

• 2004 04 facelift model (including different front and rear lights etc)
• 86000 miles, but well maintained throughout
• MOT until June 2012 and only 3000 miles completed since the 2011 test
• Road taxed until end of March 2012, so ready to drive away
• Metallic black paintwork
• Drivers, passengers and side airbags
• Isofix
• Tyre pressure loss warning system
• Standard features include electric windows, heated and electric mirrors and half leather seats

This perticular model also includes the following from the factory

• Xenon headlight with washers
• Boot mounted 6 CD changer, with dash mounted cassette
• Multifuctioning steering wheel
• Cruise control
• Uprated factory stereo with tweeters dotted about the interior

When my girlfriend bought it nearly 2 years ago, she wanted to make it abit different from the crowd, so she had some orange stripes professionally applied, along with the mirror caps and also all the 'S' badges are in the same orange, which really does look good, without going too over the top! These are more 'orangey' in real life, the photos make them look abit faint! She also had the back 3 windows professionally tinted slightly darker, which if anything is a safety thing as people can't easily see in to steal things!

All of these can obviously be removed if they aren't to your taste!

The car had a full service history when we bought it, and i have kept up to that, and gone even further as i believe if you look after a car, it looks after you! I serviced it at 82000, including oil, air, pollen filter and spark plugs and also changed the gearbox oil and carried out a complete brake fluid change! The car really does drive spot on, it glides through the gears and pulls really well. The display shows next service in 11000 miles but i would recommend it at 87000 (5000 since the last one) as it was also done at 77000 so that keeps it at 5000 mile intervals

Bodywork wise, its in generally good condition, minus a few stone chips. I'm abit of a cleaning geek so it regualry gets bathed using only Autoglym products, and its currently protected using Super Resin Polish. I always pre wash it using my 'snow foam lance', as ive shown it the photos. This hopefully removes grit before washing, and its really paid off on this black car!

All the tyres are good, with the fronts on 5mm and the rears on 7mm, these aren't runflats but the tyre pressure loss warning systems still works fine. If you drive one with runflats, then drive one without you'll realise why we didn't go back down the runflat route - the ride is TERRIBLE with runflats due to the hard sidewalls!!!

So thats it i think! Sorry for the essay, but i wanted to tell people all about this excellent little car, which also has half a tank of fuel in!!!
